"Nice but a bit too wide for our chairs" 2009-11-30
By Allison D (Tucson, AZ United States)
I agonized over the purchase of this booster seat, reading reviews and considering all the features. This seat would have been just right for us EXCEPT that it is too wide to fit all the way back into our dining room chairs. We have regular old bow-back chairs, so I didn't think I'd need to worry about the fit. It turns out that if a booster doesn't fit back against the back of the seat, the center of gravity shifts too far forward for it to be safe. Although we are currently using this seat for our 5 1/2 month old, I can tell that we will have to replace it with a different one soon. If he were to lean forward, the whole chair and booster might tip over. I can't give this seat a good review because even basic research on the part of the company would have shown that making the back 1/2 narrower would increase safety tremendously. A lot of people have chairs like ours.

 "So far, so good" 2009-08-28
By Rachel Scott (Boston, MA)
I bought this to bring with us to friend's houses and on vacations. We recently used it on vacation. It is easy to set up and breakdown and works perfectly for our nine month old - it is even easier to use than his high chair. I am very pleased with this purchase and look forward to using it as he grows.
